Meet Alison Steinwand, PHR- Director of Consulting

Alison has more than 20 years of Human Resource Management experience. Born and raised in North Dakota, she graduated from North Dakota State University in 1998 with B.S. degrees in Speech Communications & Mass Communications. She spent the first half of her career working for large Fortune-ranked companies Walgreens and Manpower. In 2010, she launched her own consulting firm and has spent the last ten years servicing small business clients in the Phoenix (Arizona) Metro area. She recently relocated to Fergus Falls to be closer to family and is excited to be expanding her business into Western Minnesota and Eastern North Dakota. 

Alison holds the prestigious PHR (Professional Human Resources) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute. She is also an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management. Alison specializes in Employee Relations (investigations, working on solutions with leadership, coach and discipline employees as needed) Hiring, Training and Development. 

Over the last decade she has worked with several small businesses helping them to set up, staff and run their HR functions. She also provided a variety of Communications services. In this role, Alison partnered with business owners and office managers to develop policies and procedures, recruiting, benefits, and HR function set-up. She has extensive experience working in the healthcare field, which most recently included her partnering with Med Spa start-ups in Mesa, AZ, servicing their HR, Communications and Marketing needs.
